Shares of Chevron CVX, -3.17% and Boeing BA, -3.21% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -1.15% was most recently trading 205 points (0.7%) lower.
Chevron’s shares have dropped $2.38, or 2.7%, while those of Boeing are off $4.95 (2.4%), combining for an approximately 48-point drag on the Dow. Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.93%, UnitedHealth UNH, -2.15%, and Amgen Inc. AMGN, -2.01% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
