Shares of UnitedHealth UNH, +0.46% and Intel INTC, +1.47% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, +0.64% was most recently trading 125 points lower (-0.4%). UnitedHealth’s shares are down $6.89, or 1.4%, while those of Intel are down $0.34, or 1.1%, combining for an approximately 48-point drag on the Dow. Apple AAPL, -0.06%, Nike NKE, -0.04%, and Amgen AMGN, -0.73% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
