Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and PayPal announced a multiyear strategic partnership on September 17, 2025. The collaboration aims to advance commerce solutions across Google’s platforms and devices. Under this deal, PayPal’s payment tools will get integrated into Google Cloud, Google Ads, and Google Play, while leveraging Google’s AI to enhance PayPal’s services and security. Furthermore, both companies also claimed that they will co-develop an “agentic commerce” standard and promote Google’s Agent Payments Protocol as a secure future transactions framework.
