Large cryptocurrencies were mixed during morning trading on Thursday, with Solana SOLUSD, -1.36% seeing the biggest move, shedding 2.88% to $99.10.
Ethereum ETHUSD, -0.03% lead the increases with a 0.29% climb to $2,531.35.
Five other currencies posted reductions Thursday. Cardano ADAUSD, -1.84% fell 2.19% to 52 cents, and Polkadot DOTUSD, -0.38% shed 1.57% to $7.22.
Uniswap UNIUSD, -1.62% shed 1.56% to $6.61, and Ripple XRPUSD, -0.19% fell 0.56% to 56 cents.
Dogecoin DOGEUSD, -0.99% recorded the smallest decline, falling 0.25% to 8 cents.
In addition to Ethereum, two other cryptocurrencies saw increases. Polygon MATICUSD, -1.19% climbed 0.16% to 81 cents, and Bitcoin BTCUSD, 0.06% rose 0.13% to $42,694.80.
In crypto-related company news, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. COIN, -7.11% rose 0.02% to $133.89, while MicroStrategy Inc. MSTR, -2.48% rose 2.89% to $513.44. Riot Platforms Inc. RIOT, -4.97% shares climbed 0.87% to $10.97, and shares of Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. MARA, -6.89% rose 2.49% to $17.69.
Block Inc. SQ, +0.89% increased 1.05% to $64.57 and Tesla Inc. TSLA, -1.70% rose 0.19% to $215.97.
PayPal Holdings Inc. PYPL, +3.67% climbed 0.94% to $60.46, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. EBON, -9.79% shares were flat at $10.11. NVIDIA Corp. NVDA, +1.88% climbed 1.95% to $571.45, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. AMD, +1.56% increased 3.58% to $165.91.
In the fund space, the Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF BITQ, -4.83%, which is focused on pure-play crypto companies, climbed 2.60% to $9.13. Blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF BLOK, -1.57% rose 0.90% to $26.98.
