A10 Networks Shares Tumble 17% After Forecasting Decline in 3Q Revenue

Shares of A10 Networks fell Tuesday after the company said it expected a significant decline in revenue in the third quarter.

The stock was down 17%, to $12.54, in after-hours trading, after falling 1.2% at Tuesday’s close. Shares are down 8.8% this year.

The San Jose, Calif.-based cloud security software company said that it expected third-quarter revenue of $56.5 million to $58.5 million based on preliminary results, down from $72.1 million a year earlier and below the $74.6 million forecast by analysts polled by FactSet.

The company said that delays from certain customers caused deals to be delayed into future quarters.

A10 still expects growth in its full-year adjusted earnings per share and anticipates fourth-quarter revenue of $70 million to $80 million.
