The Dow DJIA, +0.27% was most recently trading 109 points, or 0.4%, higher, as shares of Goldman Sachs GS, +1.27% and Nike NKE, +0.46% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally. Goldman Sachs’s shares have gained $5.96 (2.0%) while those of Nike have risen $1.89, or 1.8%, combining for a roughly 52-point boost for the Dow. Home Depot HD, +1.38%, McDonald’s MCD, +2.02%, and Microsoft MSFT, +1.47% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.59-point swing.
