Walt Disney, Walgreens Boots share losses contribute to Dow’s 150-point fall

Shares of Walt Disney and Walgreens Boots are trading lower Wednesday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory.

The Dow DJIA, -1.27% was most recently trading 152 points lower (-0.4%), as shares of Walt Disney DIS, -2.83% and Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.42% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline. Walt Disney’s shares are off $1.70 (1.8%) while those of Walgreens Boots have fallen $0.36 (1.4%), combining for an approximately 14-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are American Express AXP, -2.75%, 3M MMM, -2.43%, and Coca-Cola KO, -2.07%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.59-point swing.
