Shares of Clearway Energy, Inc. (CWEN) are up 9% on Tuesday after the company announced that it would be joining the S&P SmallCap 600 by replacing Veritiv Corporation.
CWEN is trading on the New York Stock Exchange at $24.99, up 9.27% or $2.12 per share. It has traded between $18.59 and $36.14 in the past 52-week period.
The change will be effective before the opening of trading on Thursday, November 30.
Veritiv Corporation is expected to be acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC.
