Shares of Amkor Technology were trading in the red after hours following the release of third-quarter financial results that showed sales and earnings per share were down from the year-ago period.
At 6:32 p.m. EDT on Monday, the company’s stock had fallen 16.14% to trade at $17.14. The stock closed the day’s regular session at $20.44, down 1.5%. The stock touched a 52-week low of $19.68 a share on Nov. 1, 2022.
After the bell, Amkor reported third-quarter earnings per share of 54 cents on sales of $1.82 billion. In the year-ago period, the company reported EPS of $1.24 on sales of $2.08 billion.
For the fourth quarter, the provider of semiconductor packaging and test services said it was expecting sales of in a range of $1.625 billion to $1.725 billion and earnings per share between 32 cents and 49 cents.
