Dow’s 125-point drop led by losses in shares of Apple, Walt Disney

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Tuesday morning with shares of Apple and Walt Disney delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index.

The Dow DJIA, +0.11% was most recently trading 128 points (0.4%) lower, as shares of Apple AAPL, -1.39% and Walt Disney DIS, -1.86% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Apple’s shares are off $3.06 (2.3%) while those of Walt Disney are off $1.73 (2.0%), combining for a roughly 32-point drag on the Dow. Intel INTC, -0.57%, Microsoft MSFT, -0.74%, and Goldman Sachs GS, -1.02% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
