Shares of DraftKings Inc. climbed in Thursday’s after-hours session, following news the sports betting company was close to forging a partnership with Walt Disney’s ESPN.
At 6:51 p.m. ET, shares of DraftKings were 8.35% higher at $17.25 per share. The stock finished the day’s regular session with a 3.96% loss, closing at $16.04 per share.
Bloomberg reported on the talks, citing “people who asked not to be identified because the talks are private.”
