Shares of Boeing and Walmart are trading higher Thursday afternoon, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory.
The Dow DJIA, +0.51% was most recently trading 78 points (0.2%) higher, as shares of Boeing BA, +1.91% and Walmart WMT, +1.46% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares are up $2.87, or 1.8%, while those of Walmart are up $1.82, or 1.4%, combining for an approximately 31-point boost for the Dow. Salesforce Inc. CRM, +1.59%, Goldman Sachs GS, +1.58%, and Apple Inc. AAPL, +1.51% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
