Apax Global Alpha Ltd. said Monday that two funds that it advises have agreed to sell their stakes in Unilabs to AP Moller Holding, with the transaction expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
The investment company said that the Apax IX Fund and the Apax Europe VI Fund will sell their stakes in Unilabs. The transaction values Apax Global Alpha’s total look through investment in Unilabs at around 72.4 million euros ($81.9 million) and this would represent an uplift of around EUR8.5 million to the adjusted net asset value of Apax Global Alpha at Sept. 30.
Closing of the deal is subject to regulatory approvals, it said.
Shares in Apax Global Alpha at 0822 GMT were up 2 pence, or 0.9%, at 222 pence.
