STOCKHOLM — SAS AB carried 404,000 passengers in May, up 27% from 319,000 in April and from 158,000 in May last year.

“We are looking forward to the summer and are pleased with the gradual increase in demand,” said acting Chief Executive Karl Sandlund.

“To reduce uncertainty when booking flights, SAS is offering more flexible ticket rules and generous rebooking alternatives.”

The Nordic airline said it is also launching a digital tool that allows passengers to upload necessary travel documents and access information about current travel restrictions.
