Shares of Boeing and Coca-Cola are trading lower Monday afternoon, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average selloff. The Dow DJIA, -1.25% was most recently trading 466 points (1.5%) lower, as shares of Boeing BA, -5.30% and Coca-Cola KO, -3.79% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline.
Boeing’s shares have fallen $9.72 (4.5%) while those of Coca-Cola are down $2.24, or 4.1%, combining for a roughly 79-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Travelers TRV, -3.36%, Apple Inc. AAPL, -2.47%, and Microsoft MSFT, -2.13%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
