Shares of Intel and IBM are posting losses Monday morning, leading the Dow Jones Industrial Average selloff. The Dow DJIA, +0.12% was most recently trading 322 points lower (-1.1%), as shares of Intel INTC, -2.32% and IBM IBM, -1.95% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline.
Intel’s shares have dropped $2.05 (4.3%) while those of IBM have declined $3.84 (3.0%), combining for a roughly 39-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Amgen Inc. AMGN, -0.52%, Visa V, -1.09%, and Coca-Cola KO, -1.73%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
