American Express’s shares have dropped $3.85 (3.3%) while those of Walt Disney have dropped $3.23 (2.3%), combining for a roughly 47-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Caterpillar CAT, -1.64%, Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.14%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.49%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.58-point swing.
