The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading down Wednesday afternoon with shares of UnitedHealth and Walt Disney seeing the biggest losses for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.57% was most recently trading 167 points lower (-0.6%), as shares of UnitedHealth UNH, -2.88% and Walt Disney DIS, -1.83% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline.
UnitedHealth’s shares have dropped $9.56 (2.9%) while those of Walt Disney are off $3.42, or 2.6%, combining for a roughly 85-point drag on the Dow. Salesforce.com Inc. CRM, -1.87%, Walmart WMT, -1.56%, and Verizon Communications Inc. VZ, -1.56% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
