Shares of Boeing and JPMorgan Chase are posting positive momentum Tuesday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory.
Shares of Boeing BA, +3.34% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, +2.14% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.20% was most recently trading 84 points, or 0.3%, higher. Boeing’s shares have gained $5.27, or 3.6%, while those of JPMorgan Chase are up $3.11, or 2.6%, combining for an approximately 55-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Verizon Communications Inc. VZ, +2.03%, Chevron CVX, +1.72%, and Dow Inc. DOW, +1.63%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
