Shares of bioplastics company Danimer Scientific Inc. are trading higher in Monday’s after-hours market, following the release of second-quarter financial results showing higher revenue and the company swinging to a gain in the period.
At 5:42 p.m. ET, the company’s shares were trading 10.7% higher at $14.69 a share. Volume at the time topped 77,000 shares.
The stock finished the day’s regular-trading session with a 14.22% loss, closing at $13.27 a share.
After the bell Monday, Danimer reported second-quarter earnings per share of 39 cents on revenue of $14.4 million, In the year-ago period, the company reported a loss per share of 6 cents on revenue of $11.8 million.
